Описание

После катастрофической ядерной войны мир балансирует на грани полного уничтожения. Цивилизация разделилась на дегенеративное общество, где противоборствующие стаи мародеров-падальщиков охотятся на беспомощных бездомных кочевников. Для тех, кому посчастливилось выжить в условиях постоянной жестокости и опасности, это безрадостное существование. Жизнь и смерть расплываются в абстракции. Единственная надежда, оставшаяся у человечества, - это найти героя, достойного стать следующим "Кулаком Полярной звезды" - просветленным воином, - который способен вывести тех, у кого есть воля к выживанию, из этого бесплодия в новый мир. Но в этой дикой ничейной стране с переменчивой лояльностью и жаждущими власти полубогами герои в дефиците.
